Construction
All Arcona Yachts are built in accordance with the European CE regulations, approved and classified in Category “A”
The hull and deck are a vacuum infused sandwich construction with multiaxial rovings and Vinylester resin, the core material is 20 mm Divinycell.
Solid laminate is used for rudder, engine bed, keel attachment and all through hull fitting areas.
Bulkheads are laminated to the hull and deck giving the construction superb strength and rigidity
The deck is bonded to the hull with Vinylester glue, giving the strongest possible bond and torsional rigidity
The galvanised steel cradle takes all the dynamic loads of the rig, mast and keel, with this cradle is bolted to the bulkheads ensuring that the boat is both strong and stiff as well as responsive.
The keel is directly mounted to a steel beam with 10 x 20 mm stainless steel bolts
White hull colour with blue boot top stripes
Teak laid cockpit sole and seats
Twin wheel steering
2.20m Fin keel
Manufacturer Provided Description
The perfect balance between a cruiser and a racer, both racing around the cans and during offshore racing. The winner that takes it all but at the same time a comfortable and easily handled yacht, with quality built into every single detail.
The Arcona 410 is a further development that started with Arcona 400 and which has been continuously refined. Hull, deck and inner liner are produced with an infusion method, which guaranties optimal weight, strength and quality. High stability is attained with a composite keel (steel fin with lead bulb), which has been optimized in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology to maximize lift and minimize drag. Moulds for hull, deck, keel and rudder are all CNC milled to achieve optimal and precise profiles. The sail-plan has a non-overlapping headsail and, in relative terms, a slightly larger mainsail than previous models; this combination will ease handling and keep the costs down.
This is a modern and easily managed 40 foot winner with the classic Arcona promise: exceptional sailing combined with great comfort. It is a light and stable yacht, ideal for the family as well as a racing crew. A fast sailer in all winds. Designed and built by an experienced team who puts effort into every detail. World class woodwork. A yacht that will surpass your expectations. A yacht to enjoy.
